The role is accountable for the end to end management, growth and sustainability of a portfolio of Mining, Metals and Minerals corporate clients by building deep, long term relationships underpinned by a thorough understanding of clients’ businesses and strategic objectives. The Coverage Banker is responsible for delivering a differentiated client experience through proactive, high quality relationship management, with a strong focus on responsiveness, consistent service delivery, and timely execution of credit and non credit solutions. The role drives revenue growth through disciplined business development across existing and new Mining, Metals and Minerals clients, as well as selected non-mining corporate clients geographically located in the Copperbelt and North Western Provinces. This includes identifying client needs, originating opportunities, and cross selling the full suite of Absa’s Corporate and Investment Banking products and solutions in collaboration with internal product partners.
