Wintrust is a $66 billion financial institution based in Rosemont, Illinois, and listed on the NASDAQ Global Select Market under the symbol “WTFC.” What You'll Do - Sales Partnership: Drive loan and deposit growth by acting as the dedicated banking partner for FIRST Insurance Funding sales reps, converting their premium finance customers into commercial loan opportunities. Agency Lending: Originate and structure complex credit facilities (M&A, succession, working capital) specifically tailored to the insurance agency and brokerage lifecycle. (Insurance agencies $10 Million in annual revenue and below) Consultative Sales: Build high-trust relationships with agency principals, providing expert guidance on agency valuations and financial growth strategies. Credit Management: Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and Underwriting Teams to ensure deal structures meet both client needs and bank risk standards.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years in Commercial Lending or Insurance Finance; strong understanding of cash-flow-based lending and agency operations.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work within a partner-led sales model, managing internal stakeholders as effectively as external clients.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, financial analysis of intangible assets, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Travel: Ability to travel often to meet with FIRST sales teams and key agency clients within the United States.
