About The Position

The Relationship Manager II is responsible for acquiring small business and personal clients, deepening existing relationships, and integrating both business and personal clients. Acting as a trusted strategic advisor, the manager provides financial advice and connects client needs with CNB's products and services. The role includes a clearly defined business development plan, focusing on the acquisition of new relationships and the retention and expansion of existing ones. Success is measured by the acquisition of new clients, deposit and fee income growth, loan and line volume, and effective risk management. The manager must comply with the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and remain in good standing under the Safe Act.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of direct sales experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial institution.
  • Must be in good standing under the Safe Act and registered with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry.

  • Acquire and deepen client relationships by generating new business and consumer client relationships.

  • Capture a holistic view of client needs and provide sound financial advice.

  • Comply with all bank operational and credit policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Understand client realities and growth ambitions to earn trust and steward relationships.
  • Nurture existing client relationships and create new connections through best practices.
  • Collaborate with partners to win business and progress towards shared goals.
  • Listen actively to understand client needs and convey CNB products' value proposition.
  • Analyze situations to provide tailored advice for each client's individual situation.
  • Manage ambiguity and adapt to advise clients as necessary.
  • Prioritize activities to deliver a consistent and exceptional client experience.
  • Conduct business in a polished manner fitting expectations of preferred clients.
