About The Position

CAPTRUST seeks a Relationship Management Specialist who will deliver high-level customer service to clients to the firm. The successful candidate will join an established wealth management advisory team in providing independent advice and customized service to clients. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., finance, accounting, tax), or 4+ years of experience at a wealth management or financial planning advisory firm
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience

Nice To Haves

  • CFP or CFP track preferred
  • Ability to review, research, interpret, and discuss investment, financial, macroeconomic and security specific data with Senior Advisors and clients
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to communicate information to a financially sophisticated audience
  • Prioritization skills, multi-task skills, able to manage many time-sensitive tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to delegate tasks and projects to others within the organization, to follow up as appropriate, and to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Manage, coordinate, gather, and execute projects, requests, reports, due diligence, action items, etc. related to client service, client meetings, and client reviews
  • Coordinate client meetings and calls to collect information for financial planning projects and input information into financial planning software
  • Prepare for client meetings (solo or with senior advisors) by seeking centralized resources and expertise to deliver investment performance, market updates, economic forecasts, and other topical information to clients
  • Implement changes, adjustments, portfolio rebalance, recommendations, transitions, etc. of client portfolios with CAPTRUST’s research and trading teams
  • Prepare for client meetings (solo or with senior advisors) by seeking centralized resources and expertise to deliver investment performance, market updates, economic forecasts, and other topical information to clients
  • Serve as a liaison for the team with other CAPTRUST departments and maintaining rapport with such to ensure high levels of communication, professionalism, and working team environment
