The Senior Relationship Banker is a trusted advisor who engages clients in meaningful, consultative conversations to understand their financial goals and align on solutions that meet their needs. In this role, you will drive growth by actively promoting and selling the bank's products and services. This role emphasizes deepening client relationships through excellent service, personalized advice, and proactive sales while supporting the banking center's overall sales goals. This role performs the most complex assignments.

  • Engage clients in consultative conversations to understand financial priorities and recommend personalized banking solutions, with an emphasis on deposit accounts, loans and lines of credit, and referrals to other lines of business within the Bank.
  • Actively identify and fulfill client deposit and borrowing needs, guiding clients through deposit and loan options, opening deposit accounts, and taking loan applications.
  • Provide personalized financial advice that aligns with clients' short-and-long term goals.
  • Utilize a deep understanding of the bank's products and services while sharing comprehensive, tailored advice that enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Recognize opportunities to deepen relationships with additional products and services and make referrals to bank partners.
  • Conduct regular calls to clients and prospects to offer tailored financial solutions.
  • Support a high-performing culture by coaching associates on sales, referrals, products and services as needed.
  • Deliver excellent client experiences consistently and promptly resolve client issues effectively.
  • Enhance individual knowledge to better serve clients by attending relevant sales, service, and product knowledge meetings, training classes, and web-based learning.
  • Expected compliance with bank regulations, policies, procedures, risk management, internal controls, and the First Horizon code of ethics.
  • Assist in conducting meetings to promote sales, product knowledge and customer service.
  • Assist Banking Center Manager with training personnel.
  • Assist banking center management with 'on the job training' of new associates.
  • Assist with dual control vault responsibilities and audit controls.
  • Stay informed of all operational updates and changes to ensure compliance with all current guidelines.
  • Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.
