About The Position

The Relationship Banker plays a crucial role in the Retail division by delivering personalized financial strategies to clients, focusing on banking, borrowing, and investment services. The primary goal is to grow client assets while retaining and acquiring new clients through exceptional service and sales solutions that meet their financial needs and goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Business Management, Finance, or a related field (Preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience selling products and/or services in an incentive-based environment (Required).
  • 6 months of cash handling experience (Preferred).
  • Ability to identify necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.
  • Ability to build solid relationships with teammates and business partners.
  • Skilled in assessing customer needs and providing applicable solutions.
  • Excellent consultative skills and client prospecting abilities.
  • Strong verbal communication and influence skills.
  • Ability to maintain a credible and professional image.
  • Experience conducting consultative conversations with proven close rates.

Responsibilities

  • Engages customers in the lobby to assist, educate, and train on conducting simple transactions through self-service technologies.
  • Attends and actively participates in weekly partnership meetings and joint calls with Branch partners.
  • Increases profitability by sourcing new customers through outbound calling, referrals, and lobby engagement.
  • Uses the Explore process to acquire and deepen existing relationships.
  • Creates customized solutions for clients to help them achieve their financial goals.
  • Ensures customers are connected to the appropriate partners to meet their financial needs and drive revenue growth.
  • Proactively manages risk in every business, product, and service transaction.
