About The Position
The Relationship Banker position at General Electric Credit Union (GECU) is a vital role within our member-focused financial institution, headquartered in Cincinnati, with branches across Ohio and Kentucky. In this role, you will engage with current and potential members to understand their unique financial needs through a consultative approach. Your primary goal will be to offer tailored solutions that align with GECU's products and services, ultimately enhancing the member experience and building lasting relationships. As a Relationship Banker, you will be responsible for greeting and directing members as they enter the branch, uncovering their financial goals through meaningful conversations, and advising them on the best products and services to meet their needs. You will manage a book of business, ensuring that you consistently meet sales and service goals through proactive outreach to both current and prospective members. This role also involves opening and closing various types of depository accounts, performing account maintenance, and resolving member account issues in collaboration with internal teams. In addition to these responsibilities, you will conduct teller transactions, facilitate the consumer loan application process, and ensure compliance with GECU policies during member loan closings. Your role will also include daily operations of the branch, such as balancing drawers and vaults, servicing coin machines, and maintaining quality control over accounts.
