About The Position
The Relationship Banker II serves as a frontline financial partner within a supportive and dynamic member-focused sales team. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced environment, processing both routine and complex financial transactions for members through various channels including in-person, over the phone, and via email. Your primary responsibility will be to engage in consultative conversations with members to build strong rapport and understand their financial needs, allowing you to offer tailored products and services that help them achieve their financial goals. As a Relationship Banker II, you will be expected to quickly process a variety of financial transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cashier's checks, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal procedures. You will also establish and maintain member deposit and loan accounts, including those for businesses, trusts, fiduciaries, and IRAs. Providing exceptional member service is crucial; you will need to promptly address member concerns and escalate issues to leadership when necessary. In addition to transaction processing, you will proactively identify and recommend the best products and services to meet members' financial needs, collaborating with service teams in areas such as insurance, investments, and mortgages. Meeting quarterly metrics and service objectives, including campaigns, cross-selling, and referrals, will be essential to driving key business goals and initiatives. You will also be responsible for completing required compliance training within specified timelines and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all current credit union products and services. Other duties include performing account maintenance activities, conducting follow-up activities and outbound calls for new and existing members, and assisting branch leadership with the onboarding of new representatives as needed.
