About The Position

BSNB is seeking a Relationship Banker to provide excellent service to customers and identify products and solutions to meet their financial needs for BSNB's branches in the Capital District. BSNB is a nationally recognized bank and a capital region Best Place to Work. On a daily basis, the Relationship Banker II will provide service to customers completing deposit and loan transactions, receipt and payment of cash, and other service related functions. This position is responsible for identifying customer needs and offering appropriate product and service solutions, and for performing personal account opening, closing, Certificate of Deposit (CD) renewals and other transactions of a complex nature. The Relationship Banker II will serve as a back-up to the Relationship Manager and maintain the ability to operate the branch independently, including branch operations and staff supervision. This position may also be required to work at other branch locations. BSNB, established in 1838, provides community banking to individuals, families, and businesses in the greater Capital Region through thirteen full-service banking offices and digital capabilities. Requirements

  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree
  • Prior experience in a sales and/or service oriented environment
  • Prior cash handling experience
  • One to three years' experience in a customer-focused setting
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field preferred
  • Banking experience preferred
