About The Position

The Relationship Banker I is responsible for accurately and timely conducting teller and cash vault transactions. This role requires providing exceptional customer service while adhering to Bank policies, procedures, and risk mitigation controls. The incumbent will assist customers in achieving their financial goals by selling and servicing bank products. They will collaborate with the branch team to meet team scorecard goals and are also responsible for achieving individual scorecard goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with one year of cash handling and customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong relationship skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• High level of accountability, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Exceptional time management, communication, and customer service skills.
• Must maintain a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor.
• Must complete teller training classes.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for handling customer transactions and helping with account related inquiries. Responsible for accurately maintaining and balancing cash drawers and vault as well as reconciling any discrepancies.
• Responsible for identifying the needs of new and existing customers and offering appropriate products and services.
• Responsible for assisting with internal controls and daily report follow-up as well as handling night depository deposits and other operational duties as assigned.
• Responsible for consistently demonstrating the Bank's Right by You quality standards by providing a superior level of customer service.
• Mitigate losses through work accuracy and adherence with Bank policies and procedures, internal controls and regulatory guidelines more fully described within the Bank Operations and Procedures Manual.
• Responsible for achieving individual and/or team financial, production and relationship results relative to the specific metrics and goals assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
