About The Position

Review and input necessary information to setup or fund a closed Correspondent loan for purchase. Teammate will review closing document and loan disclosures to identify key data points. Demonstrate aptitude with communicating electronically. Attention to detail is crucial for this position.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent education and work related training
• Ability to work independently
• Strong attention to detail
• Familiarity with mortgage loan documents

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and related training
• 2+ years of experience in lending or finance, preferably in mortgage originations
• Demonstrated proficiency in one or more of the following: Lending Space, Compliance Ease, MSP, FHA Connection, MERS

Responsibilities

• Review closed loan packages for key documents.
• Review key data points within the loan package to determine if the loan is acceptable for purchase.
• Enter, validate and correct information in Lending Space to ensure data integrity.
• Communicate loan defects in clear and concise term
• Generate reports to assist with production.
• Mentor and train other teammates in some areas.
