About The Position

The company is currently offering Actuarial internships for the upcoming summer, providing interns with a comprehensive exposure to various facets of the reinsurance industry, including actuarial analysis and client relations. This internship program is designed to be very hands-on, ensuring that candidates receive a thorough induction into the business and its culture. Interns will participate in a rotational program that allows them to learn about the different aspects of the reinsurance broking business. They will immerse themselves in the Lockton Re culture and assist actuaries in the production, design, analysis, and administration of reinsurance programs on behalf of client partners. Additionally, interns will contribute to the development of actuarial tools and processes and assist in building stochastic underwriting models to analyze reinsurance structures. Throughout the internship, interns will be accountable to actuaries and senior actuaries, providing excellent and timely service to clients. The ideal candidates for this internship are those who demonstrate an eagerness to learn, a willingness to communicate, and adaptability to changing environments.
