About The Position

General SummaryReclaim warranty expense from suppliers whose parts were responsible for necessitating repairs.  Assist in pulling warranty data for negotiating supplier Burden Ratios and assign Special Ratios based on quality performance.  Verify campaigns costs are reclaimed from suppliers and/or design.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Process supplier responsible for warranty claims for chargeback; negotiate warranty cost-sharing ratios with suppliers. Analyze claim data; develop and maintain programs to reduce warranty claim costs as it relates to reclaim. Develop detailed reports to track costs by the party responsible for claims, campaigns and recalls. Prepare detailed plans, reports, and schedules for the Quality Assurance Department. Strong analytical problem-solving skills and effective decision-making.•    Strong communication and negotiating skills.•    Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in both exercising company decisions and carrying out essential job duties that affect efficient business operations and the objectives, policies, practices, and conditions. Reasonable accommodation may be made to those who are able to perform the essential duties of the job.Specialized Skills and Knowledge Required•    Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.•    Experience with SAP system preferred.

Requirements
