About The Position

Arkansas Talent Group is searching for a Healthcare Reimbursement Specialist This position is responsible for supporting the preparation and analysis of financial and reimbursement reports for the healthcare system. The role involves coordinating information across departments to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations, working with external auditors, and helping identify opportunities to improve reimbursement processes. The position also contributes to maintaining program eligibility and supporting financial reporting activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field required.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel and financial software.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and collaboratively.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree or certification (CPA, MHA, MBA, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare finance, auditing, or reimbursement processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and reviewing reimbursement and cost reports for accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors during financial review processes.
  • Monitor regulatory updates related to healthcare reimbursement and assist with implementing necessary changes.
  • Support efforts to streamline reporting, identify improvement opportunities, and strengthen internal processes.
  • Prepare and record various financial estimates and reports for management review.
  • Participate in special projects, analyses, and initiatives as assigned.
