About The Position

Work Schedule: This is a 100% FTE position. Training is required between the hours of 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday. Once fully trained, there is additional schedule flexibility that will be discussed in the interview. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. We are seeking a Reimbursement Representative to: Follow up with third party payers and patients on outstanding account balances (including credit balances) to facilitate prompt resolution of outstanding account balances. Verify patient coverage information and update registration as required. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • 1 year of experience in an insurance, finance, medical, hospital, or customer service-related field. Required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Information Management, or related field Preferred
  • Revenue Cycle (healthcare business, financial or insurance) experience.
  • Epic experience
  • Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology, CPT, ICD coding structures, and billing forms (UB, 1500) Preferred
