Position Overview The Reimbursement Analyst is responsible for managing informational needs across multiple cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate reimbursement processes. This role serves as a key contact within Billing Operations for payer information, communication, and issue resolution.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree with 6 years of healthcare billing experience required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present data via Webex and Teams.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison for payer-related information and communication.
  • Identify and resolve reimbursement issues and changes impacting stakeholders.
  • Facilitate resolution of financial issues between payers, government agencies, and Labcorp.
  • Compile, model, validate, and analyze data to identify trends and support informed decision-making.
  • Perform research, analysis, trending, and reporting of diverse RCM data.
  • Compile complex end-of-month financial reports and present findings to RCM and Finance leadership.
  • Respond to specialized data requests under tight deadlines.
  • Support AR trending, AR projects, and AR rundown for RCM subsidiaries.
