About The Position

Assist Therapists with patient care, including preparation of patients for treatment and assisting patients in safe practice activities as directed by the therapists. This role also involves performing other related Rehab Therapy duties across all disciplines. Work hours will include PM shift hours due to department patient care demands.

Requirements

• Minimum AA degree from a junior college
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association required
• 2 years of patient care experience in Rehab setting
• Practice of universal precautions in a healthcare environment
• Ability to analyze constantly changing situations and take appropriate action
• Ability to express oneself clearly in speaking and in writing
• Ability to accept feedback and constructive coaching
• Emotional maturity, personal and professional integrity, and interest in growth and learning

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree desired
• One to five years patient care experience in an acute care setting desired
• Work experience with Neuro (OP, Traumatic brain injury, Post-concussion) populations desired
• Work experience with Orthopedic populations desired
• Work experience with Trauma populations desired
• Work experience with Critical Care populations desired
• Experience and use of exercise equipment
