About The Position

The Department of State Hospitals - Napa Rehabilitation Therapy Department is accepting applications for multiple permanent, full time Rehabilitation Therapist - Art vacancies. The candidate should be knowledgeable about art therapy in a mental health setting, creative, have strong leadership and clinical skills. Requirements

• Completion of an approved clinical internship in the appropriate rehabilitation specialty in an approved hospital or rehabilitation center affiliated with the college.
• Possession of a Master's Degree in Art Therapy or in Art with emphasis in Art Therapy, or registration with the American Art Therapy Association, or eligibility for such registration.

• Knowledge of principles, procedures, techniques, trends, and literature of rehabilitation services, especially those relating to developmental, mental, or physical disordered offenders.
• Ability to utilize and effectively apply required technical knowledge.
• Ability to establish and maintain the confidence and cooperation of persons contacted in the work.
