This rehab tech position will be working rehab and acute care to assist PT/OT with treatment sessions, ADLs, patient transport to and from the rehab gym, keeping the rehab gym clean and stocked, etc. They will work closely with PT/OT on both units.

Requirements

• high school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• 6-12 months of relevant experience in a rehabilitation setting

Responsibilities

• Follow patient care tasks as determined by the OTR/RPT to help patients achieve therapy goals.
• Safely transport patients to and from therapy and other activities.
• Communicate clearly (verbally and in writing) with members of the rehabilitation team.
• Observe and recognize patient reactions to treatment; follow instructions accurately.
• Lift and carry equipment, supplies, and materials up to 50 lbs on a regular basis; use proper body mechanics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
