How You Will Make an Impact: As a Rehabilitation Technician, you'll play a vital role on our team, working alongside healthcare providers to support patient care in rehabilitation settings throughout the Austin area. In this role, you’ll help patients with exercises, maintain our treatment areas, and perform a variety of tasks that help ensure a smooth, effective rehab experience. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred (especially in kinesiology, sports medicine, pre-med, or a related field).
Physical ability to assist patients with mobility and rehabilitation exercises.
A positive attitude, approachable demeanor, and professional appearance.

Nice To Haves

Previous healthcare or rehab experience is helpful, but not required.
Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus.
Being bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist healthcare providers in delivering rehab treatments and therapeutic exercises to patients.
Help patients with mobility and strength exercises, ensuring they use proper technique and stay safe.
Greet patients and prepare them for their treatment sessions.
Provide clear instructions for patients on in-clinic and at-home exercises and self-care.
Teach patients how to use rehab equipment correctly and guide them through exercises.
Keep treatment areas clean and organized, and ensure all equipment is sanitized and ready to use.
Document patient information and update records as needed for ongoing care.
Answer questions from patients, offering reassurance and clarity about their treatment.
Support the administrative team by facilitating communication between patients and providers.
Collaborate with your teammates to continuously improve the care and services we provide.
