General Description:

The Rehabilitation Technician supports licensed Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists in delivering high-quality patient care. This role assists with preparing patients and treatment areas, setting up and maintaining equipment, and performing clinical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient therapy operations while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a clinical, rehabilitation, or healthcare setting required
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred

Nice To Haves

• Medical Assistant or similar certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Support Patient Care- Assist Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Physical Therapist Assistants with patient preparation, escorting patients to treatment areas, and positioning patients for therapy sessions.
• Provide Administrative Assistance- Complete clerical and operational tasks such as stocking supplies, filing, and data entry to support smooth day-to-day clinic operations
• Maintain Treatment Areas & Equipment- Prepare, clean, and organize treatment spaces and therapy equipment before and after patient sessions, ensuring a safe and efficient clinical environment.
• Ensure Equipment Readiness- Set up, break down, and perform basic maintenance on therapy equipment while promptly reporting any issues to maintain operational readiness.
• Support Clinic Operations- Assist with patient flow, room turnover, scheduling support, and administrative tasks such as stocking supplies, filing, and data entry to keep therapy services running smoothly.
