REHABILITATION TECHNICAN Vista Specialty Hospital Rehabilitation Technician Job Summary: A Rehab Tech in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital setting plays a crucial supportive role in the rehabilitation journey of patients recovering from severe injuries, illnesses, or complex medical conditions requiring extended hospital stays. They work under the direct supervision of licensed physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other rehabilitation professionals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must maintain current Provider BLS/CPR certification throughout employment
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of basic medical terms and procedures
• Physical capacity to assist patients with movement and exercises
• Compassion for patients and a basic understanding of rehabilitation principles
• Safety Sensitive-Designated Position

Nice To Haves

• Previous healthcare or rehabilitation experience is a plus.
