The Rehabilitation Technician provides vocational rehabilitation services to individuals with disabilities in achieving employment outcomes. Responsibilities include assisting with specific administrative and rehabilitation duties to one or more vocational rehabilitation professionals, conducting intake interviews, counseling consumers on job and career development goals, providing job search and case management assistance, coordinating services with local businesses, and collaborating with network workforce partners in local communities. Meet minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human services field including but not limited to Rehabilitation Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Behavioral Sciences, and Education including Early Childhood, Elementary, and Special Education. One year of experience in career counseling, social work, or human services. Other combinations of related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Additional Information This position may be eligible for partial telework within the state of Montana. Specific conditions will be provided by the supervisor and must adhere to state policy. This position may be eligible for a statutory $1.00 an hour base pay increase effective July 1, 2026. This position is open until filled with frequent screening of applicants.
