About The Position
The Rehabilitation Technician at Duly Health and Care plays a crucial role in maintaining and supporting the clinic environment to ensure safe, efficient, and quality patient care. This full-time position, located in Naperville, IL, requires the technician to work 40 hours per week, including two evenings until 7:00 PM. The Rehabilitation Technician will work under the direction of Physical Therapy (PT) and Occupational Therapy (OT) providers or Chiropractors, reporting directly to the Duly clinic manager. The primary focus of this role is to provide patient care, support, and guidance, contributing to high patient satisfaction and therapist productivity. In this position, the Rehabilitation Technician will execute plans of care as directed by PT/OT/Chiropractic providers, ensuring that all activities comply with the Illinois Physical Therapy Practice Act, the Illinois Occupational Therapy Practice Act, and the Illinois Medical Practice Act. The technician will be responsible for the proper setup and adjustment of exercise equipment, assisting with the delivery of modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and hot/cold packs. They will also utilize educational techniques to ensure patients understand their exercises, monitor patient safety, and discuss performance with the PT/OT provider. The role also includes managing clinic flow by monitoring patient arrivals, ensuring timely starts for appointments, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the clinic. The Rehabilitation Technician will perform front-end tasks such as patient check-in, collection of co-pays, answering phones, and scheduling future appointments. Effective communication with the PT/OT and Chiropractic referral team regarding patient insurance benefits is essential, as is managing the schedule for clinicians, including confirmation calls and rescheduling as needed.
