We are seeking a Rehabilitation Technician PRN for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? Job Summary and Qualifications As a Rehab Technician , you will play a vital role in helping patients regain strength, independence, and confidence. You will work alongside therapists and nurses to support effective treatments and create a positive, caring environment that encourages patients on their healing journey. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact - helping patients move forward while living out our mission to improve lives every day.

Requirements

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Prior Aide experience in a hospital/clinical environment is required (Acute and IPR)
  • Must be comfortable moving and walking patients
  • Must be able to work a minimum of two 8-hour shifts a month with one of those being a weekend shift

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge in one or all of the following areas is preferred: Exercise Physiology, Medical Terminology, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy

Responsibilities

  • Assisting therapists with treatments and exercises and helping tailor therapy plans to each patient's needs
  • Preparing, cleaning, and maintaining therapy equipment and treatment areas to create a safe, organized space for patients and staff
  • Helping patients get to therapy sessions and assisting with dressing, positioning, and other needs so they feel comfortable and ready for care
  • Tracking supplies, completing basic paperwork, and sharing important patient information with the rehab team
  • Supporting the team with tasks like helping during mealtimes or other duties that keep patient care running smoothly
