About The Position

The Rehabilitation Technician assists in front desk operations, assists rehab professionals in the care of patients/ residents, manages inventory, assists in the management of safety and emergency procedures, assists in educational efforts of patients and staff, assists with the Joint Institute.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of all required orientation programs.

Responsibilities

• Assists in front desk operations including scheduling for PT and OT, greeting patients and families, and managing incoming physician orders.
• Assists in the management of safety and emergency procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment, and reporting hazardous situations.
• Assists rehab professionals in the care of patients/residents, managing patient flow and providing information regarding rehab schedules.
• Assists with the Joint Institute by coordinating schedules, moving patients, and supporting group activities.
• Manages inventory for office and clinical operations, ensuring adequate supplies and monitoring expirations.
• Assists in educational efforts for patients and families, and mentors students from OCC.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
