About The Position

The Rehabilitation Technician position at Skokie Hospital involves assisting Physical, Occupational, or Speech therapists with patient care activities at the bedside and/or in the open gym. The role requires sorting, storing, and keeping inventory of linens, supplies, equipment, and forms, as well as assisting with therapy scheduling. This is a full-time position with a schedule of 40 hours per week, specifically Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and a late day on Thursdays from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The position does not require travel but does involve working on holidays, with an expectation of two holidays per year.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience or observation/volunteer hours in a rehab or clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical, Occupational or Speech therapists with patient care activities at the bedside and/or in the open gym.
• Sort, store and keep inventory of linens, supplies, equipment and forms.
• Assist with therapy scheduling.
