About The Position

Join us as a Rehabilitation Services Aide (RSA) and play a vital role in the overnight care and support of adults in our 24-hour supervised housing programs. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute meaningfully in a stable, team-oriented environment where structure and compassion go hand in hand. Your Role at a Glance As an RSA, you'll be the consistent and reassuring presence in our residential sites overnight. While clients rest, you'll ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment—ready to respond to any issues that arise and maintain detailed documentation that drives quality care.

Requirements

  • Minimum age: 21 years.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing and reliable transportation to/from work.
  • Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and crisis de-escalation skills.
  • Ability to work independently within structured systems and accept supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with adults or children in service-based settings preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct care aligned with client treatment plans and maintain accurate, timely service notes in compliance with agency standards.
  • Conduct routine safety checks, particularly overnight bed checks, and respond to client concerns, behavioral issues, or crises with sound judgment.
  • Develop therapeutic rapport with clients while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Monitor and report physical or behavioral changes, including adverse medication reactions.
  • Use emergency systems appropriately, including 911 and the internal on-call structure.
  • Maintain orderly and clean shared spaces in the facility to promote safety and comfort.
  • Participate in staff meetings, required trainings, and interdisciplinary communication.
  • Log all significant events or observations using shift reports, communication logs, or incident reports.
  • Monitor client self-administration of medications per policy, maintain the medication cart, and report errors when necessary.
  • Observe and follow infection control practices and support general site maintenance protocols.
  • Uphold all client rights and confidentiality standards as outlined by HIPAA, the Mental Health Code, and agency policies.
