About The Position

Rehabilitation Psychologist - $10,000 Sign-On Bonus Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking an outstanding psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to join our team. The psychologist will provide inpatient and outpatient consultative and psychotherapeutic services to adults in our physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. Most common conditions include brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, amputation, cancer, cardiac diseases, and neurological disorders. The focus of our services is adjustment to and coping with acute and chronic medical conditions that are impacting functioning and quality of life. We emphasize evidence-based, interdisciplinary approaches to rehabilitation. We are looking for candidates with excellent interpersonal skills, a desire to work within an interdisciplinary team, and experience in a health care setting. Candidates with a background in rehabilitation or health psychology especially well-suited to this position. The psychologist will be engaged in direct service delivery and may also provide supervision of Master’s-level providers. This position requires a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program and license (or license eligible) in the State of Michigan Persons who can bring increased diversity to the department are especially encouraged to apply. Requirements

Doctoral degree in Psychology
Full licensure as a Psychologist with the State of Michigan.
One to two years progressively more responsible related work experience.
