This Rehabilitation Counselor-Entry/Counselor position is responsible for performing casework within a caseload, utilizing skills and techniques that enable a person with a disability to successfully interface with their total environment in the community and obtain, maintain, and advance in employment. Travel may be required for this position and must be performed as needed. The Office of Workforce Development (OWD) is a key division of Louisiana Works managing programs in workforce training, job placement, apprenticeships, and business engagement.
