About The Position
The public vocational rehabilitation (VR) program administered through the Texas Workforce Commission helps people with disabilities to prepare for, obtain, retain, and advance in employment. We are seeking to fill a Rehabilitation Assistant (RA) position to join the Gulf Coast Central Department. This position is located at 3311 Richmond Ave., Houston, TX. The RA assists the assigned VR Counselors in providing services to customers to achieve successful employment outcomes. The RA provides basic information regarding VR programs, services, and referral information to customers and vendors.
