How you’ll contribute A Rehabilitation Aide who excels in this role: Perform rehabilitation/restorative nursing interventions that assist or promote the patient’s ability to attain his or her maximum functional potential Report patient responses to interventions and condition to the nurse, supervising therapist(s), or assistant. Participate in facility/unit quality management activities. Collect quality review data. Participate in survey preparation activities. Participates in facility/unit safety committee activities Contribute to the delivery of cost-effective care. Assist in formalized discipline specific and interdisciplinary group activities. Participates in continuing education/professional development activities Communicate and demonstrate a professional image/attitude for patients, families, clients, coworkers and others Adhere to policies and practices of applicable professional organizations, client hospital and Kindred Healthcare. Contribute to client relations and marketing activities. Maintain competency. Participate in team meetings. What we’re looking for Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Experience: Six months experience as a Rehab Tech or Restorative Nursing Aide in a hospital or long–term care environment preferred.
