About The Position

Atlantic Health is seeking a dependable and compassionate Rehabilitation Aide to support the daily operations of our Atlantic Rehabilitation department for the inpatient unit at Overlook Medical Center. This entry-level position plays a vital role in assisting the rehabilitation therapist and their assistant in the therapeutic treatment of acutely ill patients and providing assistance with physical exercise, bathing, and other activities. The Rehab Aide will ensure and assist patients to and from their room to the therapy center. This is a great opportunity to begin or continue your healthcare career in a supportive, team-oriented setting. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working with patients preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the therapist in carrying out each patient's interdisciplinary plan of care for therapy.
  • Maintains equipment and advises the therapist of any issues that arises.
  • Prepares and manages supplies and equipment's and maintains rooms for therapy sessions.
  • Maintains and organizes the inventory supplies, ordering stock, and cleaning the stock areas.
  • Ensures and maintains equipment and treatment room clean before and after therapy session.
  • Performs and assists day-to-day non-clinical patient care duties.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
