Nice To Haves

• Currently enrolled in a training program leading to licensure as a rehabilitation professional or similar worker.
• Certification as an aide in any rehabilitation capacity or as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) issued by an accredited program upon hire.
• 6 months of experience in any capacity in an acute care hospital.
• 6 months of experience as an employee in a rehabilitation environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care services under the supervision of a registered physical therapist.
• Assist with patient care services under the direct supervision of an occupational therapist.
• Observe patient responses to services and communicate observations of patient needs.
• Assist with education for patients, families, peers, and the community.
