Requirements

• Current State licensure as Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in a rehab setting required.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date or within 90 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, guide and mentor the entire rehab team to ensure the plan of care for the patient population is being followed at all times.
• Direct rehab services operations, such as staff interviews, orientation, performance appraisals, employee development and supervision.
• Schedule rehab therapy staff.
• Ensure that the rehab services being provided are appropriate to the scope and level of care for the patients being served.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure quality and efficient service delivery.
• Serve as a liaison between the Rehab Therapy department and the Chief Nursing Officer to further clinically develop staff, service and/or rehab program.
• Actively promote professional development, education and competency of rehab staff.
• Demonstrate awareness of department’s needs and assist with daily operations.
