Requirements

  • High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patient, or treatment area, for participation in therapy treatment as instructed by a therapist.
  • Assist during therapy treatment under the direct supervision of a therapist.
  • Perform cleaning duties for equipment and treatment areas utilized during therapy.
  • Inventory equipment and supplies, re-stock equipment and supplies, and participate in ordering process in order to maintain inventory at designated par levels.
  • Assist with application of Continuous Passive Motion (CPM) machine in accordance with department procedural guidelines.
  • Assist with issuing equipment from the consignment closet per department procedural guidelines.
  • May complete unit/department specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents.
