This clinic does a lot of one-on-one times with manual therapy and really takes the time to explain the treatment to patients and encourage them. As a Rehab Tech you will: Delegate direct or indirect patient care under the direct supervision of a physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech language pathologist or other licensed/registered clinicians. Treatment set-up and take-down. Patient scheduling. Filing. Stocking supplies. Tracking data. Equipment maintenance and cleaning. This a rehab tech for our physical therapy department that works 20 hours a week. There are no weekends required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
• Physical Requirements-Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly

Nice To Haves

• Previous rehab experience in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unit preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• The ability to speak spanish is preferred.
