About The Position

Saint Luke's is seeking a Patient Mobility Technician (PRN) at Saint Luke's East Hospital (100 NE Saint Lukes Blvd., Lees Summit, MO), a Level 3 trauma hospital. This position is PRN, meaning you will work as needed with no set scheduled weekly hours. Shift coverage could be any of the following: 7:30a-4:00pm or 3:30pm-7:30pm throughout the week (Sunday through Saturday). The role involves assisting therapists with patients' mobility, including lifting, transporting, transferring, and walking. You will also be responsible for the clean installation and maintenance of mobility equipment, assisting therapists with patients' mobility, supporting the Rehab Department, and being a second set of hands during therapy sessions.

Requirements

• Direct Patient Care experience (preferred)
• Less than 1 year of applicable experience

Responsibilities

• Assist therapist with patients' mobility (lifting, transporting, transferring, walking, etc.)
• Clean installation and maintenance of mobility equipment
• Assist therapists with patients' mobility (help with 'chair follow' when walking a patient, line management)
• Support the Rehab Department
