About The Position
The UMSJ Outpatient Rehabilitation Institute is located on the campus the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson. We are a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic that includes Physical and Occupational Therapy, and Speech Language Pathology. Our staff work as a team in this unregulated outpatient office with a wonderful working environment. We offer free parking and a flexible schedule. Requirements
- Education & Experience - Required Education : High School diploma or equivalent Experience : No experience required
- Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire
Responsibilities
- Prepares and maintains treatment areas and equipment to adhere to appropriate infection control standards, as well as maintains logs to assure compliance.
- Assists the licensed clinicians in the delivery of patient care as permitted by State of Maryland Practice Acts.
- Assists in the training of new rehabilitation technicians .
- Assists front office and clinicians with routine clerical tasks to support the patient care process.
- Monitors and maintains inventory to assure adequate supplies.
- Demonstrates patient-centered care and service.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
