About The Position

Creative Health Solutions is seeking a compassionate and motivated Rehabilitation Technician to join our dynamic therapy team serving a vibrant skilled nursing facility with assisted living in Winter Haven, FL. Our company provides high-quality physical, occupational, and speech-language therapy services designed to help residents regain independence, maximize function, and improve quality of life. This is an excellent opportunity for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who is passionate about rehabilitation and enjoys working in a collaborative, resident-centered environment. The Rehabilitation Tech will perform supportive services to the Rehabilitation Department under the direction of the Rehab Director.

Requirements

Active Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic documentation systems
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Compassionate, patient-focused attitude
Must have a minimum of a high school education or equivalent.
Must be proficient with basic computer skills
Strong organizational skills in order to effectively maintain multiple projects simultaneously.
Requires creativity as well as the ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a rehabilitation or skilled nursing setting
A minimum of one year health care experience preferred.
A minimum of one year office experience preferred.
Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

Supports efficient operation of the therapy department .
Assists therapists with treatment.
Transports patients as directed.
Coordinates scheduling with the nursing staff.
Prepares patients, treatment areas, equipment and supplies for treatment.
Maintains awareness of change in patient census and programs.
Follows established procedures pertaining to the care of equipment and supplies including completion of cleaning logs.
Ensures that adequate office supplies and supplies for treatments are maintained.
Completing forms and records, making copies, filing forms, obtaining necessary signatures and maintaining orderly and accurate patient records.
Assists Rehab Director in month end billing reconciliation procedures and completion of the monthly triple check forms.
Assists or completes patient and or staff schedules on a daily basis.
Runs and analyzes reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to assist in department operations, compliance, and patient management procedures and communicates information to appropriate individuals.
Assists in orientation procedures for new hires with direct oversight by Rehab Director.
