About The Position

Join our team as a day shift, PRN, Rehab Tech in Tulsa, OK. Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute. This role is responsible for assisting all therapists in providing therapy services to patients/clients of all ages who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes under the supervision of a therapist. The incumbent maintains a clean, orderly, and safe work area ready for patient and/or therapist use. The incumbent completes clerical duties for all therapists, provides support to Administrative Assistants, and provides support for patient treatments as directed by a therapist.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care

Responsibilities

Assisting all therapists in providing therapy services to patients/clients of all ages who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes under the supervision of a therapist
Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work area ready for patient and/or therapist use
Completing clerical duties for all therapists
Providing support to Administrative Assistants
