About The Position

As a Rehab Tech at Union General Hospital, you will play a crucial role in assisting our patients in their journey towards recovery. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist our licensed therapists in providing physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy to our patients. You will also be responsible for maintaining equipment and supplies, as well as ensuring a clean and safe environment for our patients.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in a healthcare setting
• Ability to lift and transfer patients
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent certification
• Experience working in a rehabilitation setting
• Knowledge of therapy equipment and supplies
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed therapists in providing physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy to patients
• Maintain equipment and supplies necessary for therapy sessions
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients
• Assist with patient transfers and mobility
• Report patient progress and communicate with therapists and other healthcare professionals
