When you're injured, even routine activities can be difficult. To help you recover fully, CHI Health Rehabilitation Care provides physical therapy at outpatient rehabilitation clinics throughout Omaha and the surrounding area. CHI Health Rehabilitation Care Therapists are medically trained, licensed professionals with expertise in all subspecialties of physical therapy, focusing on musculoskeletal dysfunction from injury, disease processes and/or post-surgical recovery. We also have on staff several physiatrists - doctors of physical medicine -- who specialize in diagnosing and treating patients with physical disabilities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Someone with a background (or big interest!) in aquatics, fitness, or therapy
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required
  • Nebraska Swimming Pool Operator License required within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

  • Lead water-based exercise classes and supervise open pool programs
  • Help set up equipment, prepare patients for therapy, and assist licensed therapists with treatment programs
  • Support patients during therapy, ensuring safety and comfort
  • Keep our therapy space organized, clean, and ready for action
  • Handle a few clerical tasks like scheduling and patient registration
  • Help keep our pool sparkling and safe by monitoring water chemistry
