About The Position

Under the supervision and/or direction of a Nursing Supervisor and/or Staff RN, performs various duties in the treatment and care of patients, in accordance with established policies and procedures of the hospital.

Requirements

• Current healthcare BLS certification.
• High school graduate or general education degree (GED).
• At least one (1) month related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Completion of at least one (1) semester of clinical fundamentals in a RN or LPN degree program if a current nursing student.
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Familiarity with standard hospital procedures.

Nice To Haves

• CNA Certification.
• At least six (6) months of paid nursing experience in acute care, long term care, or home health care setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform various duties in the treatment and care of patients.
• Assist in managing patients' mobility safely and effectively.
• Document patient care activities using automated systems.
