About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and professional Rehab Insurance Coordinator (RIC) to join our Outpatient Therapy Team. The RIC requires a breadth of knowledge about all insurance reimbursement carriers and the varied intricacies of multiple plans per carrier (and sometimes per discipline) with regard to outpatient therapies and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP). Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in outpatient medical setting
  • Prior experience of insurance - obtaining benefits, submitting authorizations, etc.
  • Epic Cadence scheduling
  • Knowledge of general MS office systems including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Proficiency with keyboarding
  • Ability to multitask with frequent interruptions
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of registration process
  • Knowledge of medical terminology

  • Work collaboratively with therapy team to support exceptional patient experience and outcomes.
