About The Position

A REHAB DIRECTOR (Physical Therapist / PT) is now available in our
sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Canton, MA.

Facility is a busy subacute rehab center located right near the commuter rail in
Canton MA. Hellenic is a non-profit facility associated with the Hellenic
Women’s Benevolent Association, founded by Greek Orthodox individuals who were
unable to find appropriate care for loved ones. Their mission is to provide
quality care to patients and residents of any background, culture, and faith. As
rehab professionals working within this center, we have the pleasure of treating
both short and long term residents from any of the five nursing units in the
center. The rehab staff here are tight knit, enjoying regular team lunches and
social gatherings.

Requirements

• Be a licensed physical therapist or license eligible in the state where employed
• Have experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
• Candidate will need to have experience managing a SNF rehabilitation department.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and effective operations
• Plan and implement rehabilitation programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods and data
• Provide administrative rehabilitation supervision
• Serve as a rehabilitation staff mentor
• Provide physical therapy services as needed.
