Job Summary Summary Responsible for assisting with patient care including organization, clean-up of treatment areas, and office duties as needed under the direction of a Physical Therapist or supervisor. Requirements

• Education Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required or Doctor of Physical Therapy Physical Therapy preferred
• Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No
• Licenses and Credentials Grace Period for License Eligibility [Massachusetts] - MGB Internal preferred
• Experience In doctoral program and completing final internship 0-1 year required
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Ability to organize/prioritize.
• Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in physical therapy.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong patient/customer service skills.
• Ability to assist with medical examinations and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists therapists and assistants with patient care.
• Assists in daily upkeep of physical environment, linen, and equipment maintenance.
• Meets regularly with Rehab staff to update therapy programs and assess effectiveness.
• Is alert for patient safety at all times.
• Cleans therapy mats daily utilizing established departmental procedures.
• Assist the Rehabilitation Therapist with treatment as directed.
