About The Position

Capitol View Transitional Care Center, a state-of-the-art transitional care unit (TCU) located in Regions Hospital and part of the HealthPartners organization, provides quality care to patients aged 18 and above who require short-term stays, with an average length of stay of 17 days. The Rehab Aide role is described as rewarding and fun. Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or TCU environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Transporting patients scheduled for PT, OT, and ST to and from treatments areas.
• Assist with patient related physical, occupational, and speech therapy duties and tasks under the on-site supervision of the therapist following therapy association guideline.
• Follow safety standards while preforming patient related duties i.e. good body mechanics, transfer belt, correct transfer procedures, and comply with patient precautions
• Notifies therapist of any resident related problems.
• Assist professional staff as requested
• Preforms assigned clerical duties: filing, copying, mailing, scheduling, equipment ordering, and timely preparation of charts and assist with maintenance of department records
• prepares, maintains, and cleans department/treatment areas.
• Assist with leisure activities with patients.
