About The Position

Works under the direction of a therapist or therapy assistant, supporting the productive operation of either the inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation program. Maintains and cleans the equipment/treatment areas, preps and inventories supplies for therapy sessions, assists with Joint Commission preparedness and completes clerical tasks as assigned. Assists with patient care as directed by the therapist which may include tasks such as transporting, transferring, lifting, stand by assistance of completion of exercises.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Computer skills and efficient use of Word and Excel
• Employees in this position: Will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a 'non-frequent driver'

Nice To Haves

• Pursuing higher education within a clinical field and/or course(s) in allied health related subject(s) desirable
• Prior patient care experience in a health care setting desirable
• Experience as a student, working or volunteering in a rehab setting preferred
