About The Position

The Rehab Aide reports to the Rehabilitation Director provides administrative support to the Rehab team and performs delegated, selected or routine tasks in specific situations. These duties include clerical duties and preparing the treatment area. Participates in performance improvement activities. The position shall exemplify the desired Culture of Choice® and philosophies of Parrish Healthcare.

Requirements

• High School graduate or GED certificate required.
• 1 year to < 2 years’ experience as Rehab Aide Required

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative support to the site director and performs clerical duties.
• Responsible for compiling reports, providing analysis, reconciliation and auditing.
• Maintains compliance with therapist licensing, RQI and training.
• Maintains patient medical record forms, educational handout distribution material, assists in record keeping of patient files, invoicing, claims billing.
• Prepares and cleans treatment area for each patient use.
• Performs final cleaning at close of department, in preparation for first morning patient.
• Stocks the linens and removes dirty linens throughout the shift.
• Orders, stocks and maintains accurate records of equipment.
• Provides inventory control for rehab medical and office supplies.
• Performs similar or related duties as assigned.
• Knows fire, disaster and safety procedures and regulations as it pertains to the work area
